If you want to be promoted, an easy way to do it is to ask your manager what they’re struggling to keep up with. Usually it’s the stuff they hate to do and they procrastinate on. This is your gateway to taking on more, and learning more. I should say that if you’re a slacker, or known to be unreliable, this won’t get you anywhere because their name still goes on it.
